Family reunions certainly involve genealogy and the Virginia-North Carolina Piedmont Genealogical Society encourages and supports them whenever it can. To that end the Society will post on its website (vancpgs.org), without charge, announcements of family reunions in the seven Virginia and North Carolina counties which it covers, namely Halifax, Pittsylvania, Henry and Franklin Counties in Virginia and Person, Caswell and Rockingham Counties in North Carolina. Announcements may be posted up to a year prior to the reunion and will remain on the website until after the reunion.
